Effect on the machine: ShutdownEMBrake ShutdownThrottle ShutdownMotor Control Mode changed to LOS (Limited Operating Strategy).
Possible causes
- Stalled motor.
- Motor encoder failure.
- Bad crimps or faulty wiring.
- Problems with power supply for the motor encoder. See Programmer »System Monitor menu » AC Motor » Motor RPM.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Set: No motor encoder movement detected. Clear: Either Reset Controller, Or if parameter LOS Upon Encoder Fault = On and Interlock has been cycled, then the Stall Detected fault is cleared and the Encoder LOS fault (flash code 9- 3) is set, allowing limited motor control.
