The Genie display shows code 135-12 with the message “Wall Powered Charger Error Codes — Reverse polarity error”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.

Possible causes

  • Battery is connected the wrong way around.

What you can do

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

· Check the battery connections. (This error will automatically clear once the condition has been corrected.)
