The Genie display shows code 15-28 with the message “Foot Switch — Timeout”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Platform controlled functions disabled
Possible causes
- ON for > Timeout Ti me (default is 2 min)
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Release foot switch and recycle power Verify: (when activated) 24V supply on C11-1 (P22PWR WH) 24V on C11-2, PCON C46-6 GY (C56FTS RD) when pressed, 0V when not pressed
