Code 16-12 occurs in machines: Genie Z-33/18 DC.

The Genie display shows code 16-12 with the message “Speed Adjustment Dial — VALUE TO HIGH”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Effect on the machine: All functions speeds are reduced.

- Stuck ON (on @ power up)
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Check: *5V DC (orange wire). *Output. It should be 0-4.7V DC (WH/RD wire). *Input at VCON at C35-3. * R e p l a c e r o t a r y potentiometer (rheostat.)
