The Genie display shows code 205-12 with the message “Drive Power Contactor — VALUE TOO HIGH”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: All functions disabled
Possible causes
- Contacts detected closed when contactor not commanded
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
*Check for voltage at main contactor coil with machine in the ON position. (24V DC on red wire. 48V DC on orange wire) *Replace main contactor.
