The Genie display shows code 61-17 with the message “Steer Joystick — Not Calibrated”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.

Effect on the machine: Steer function disabled

Possible causes

  • Not between 2000 & 3000 mV at startup

What you can do

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

Verify: · 5V at JC3-2 (P162JW OR) · B- at JC3-1 (JSGND BR) · 500 to 4500 mV at JC3-3 (JC3-5 for dual axis joystick) & PCON C46-11 (C159STC BL/WH) through joystick motion Note: 1500 to 3500 mV for rocker style joystick at JC3- 5
