The Genie display shows code 96-19 with the message “Low Oil Pressure Or Engine Overtemp — Value out of range”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Possible causes
- Either the over temperature or low oil pressure switch provided a ground to relay CR64 to shut down the engine. A time delay of 5 seconds gives the oil pressure time to build after the engine is started.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
What service does
A qualified service technician reads the code with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools, finds the cause, clears the code and carries out a function test.
