Code 121 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 121 with the message “Closed Loop Multiplier High (Gasoline)”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring and/or connections open or shorted.
- sensor is faulty.
- there are vacuum leaks or exhaust leaks.
- fuel pressure is low.
- the fuel injectors need cleaning or replacing.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Repair wiring and/or connections OR replace sensor OR repair any vacuum and exhaust leaks OR test the fuel pressure OR clean or replace the fuel injectors.
