Code 122 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 122 with the message “Closed Loop Multiplier Low (Gasoline)”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- MAP, IAT or ECT sensors not in correct position.
- wiring and/or connections for sensors open or shorted.
- sensor is faulty.
- one or more fuel injectors are stuck open.
- there is electromagnetic interference from a faulty crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensor.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Adjust or replace sensors OR clean or repair fuel injectors.
