Code 534 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 534 with the message “TPS2 (Signal Voltage) Low”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- The #2 throttle position sensor wiring and/or connections open or shorted.
- there is a poor system ground connection.
- throttle position sensor #2 is faulty.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Be sure system ground connections are in place and secure OR repair wiring and/or connections to sensor OR replace throttle position sensor #2.
