Code 537 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.

The Genie display shows code 537 with the message “Throttle Unable to Open”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Governor actuator is stuck closed.
- wiring and/or connections open or shorted.
- governor actuator is faulty.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Repair wiring and/or connections to governor actuator OR replace the governor actuator.
