Code 545 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.

The Genie display shows code 545 with the message “Governor Interlock Failure”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Engine harness wiring and/or connections open or shorted.
- there is a poor system ground connection.
- ECM is faulty.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Repair wiring and/or connections in engine harness OR replace the ECM.
