Genie error code 61 — System voltage low.
Message on the display: System voltage low.
Code 61 occurs in machines: Genie S-60, S-65, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-45/25.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 61 with the message “System voltage low”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Battery supply voltage to the ECM is 8V DC or less.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Check battery and/or alternator condition OR check for shorted wires or poor terminal connections from the battery to the ECM.
