The Genie display shows code 43-9 with the message “Turntable Rotate CCW Coil — Shorted to GND”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Turntable Rotate CCW function will not operate.
Possible causes
- TCON detected that C5TRR circuit is shorted to GND.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
* With a voltmeter, measure Y23. Proper resistance should be between 5 - 60 ohms. Replace Y23 if resistance is outside of those values.
