The Genie display shows code 94-19 with the message “Primary Boom Length — Value out of expected range”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Machine limited to recovery functions.
Possible causes
- Min or max length out of expected range. Crosscheck limit switch disagrees with length sensor.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
* Verify that with the boom retracted C24LS (OR/RD TCON J7-4) is 12V and that the boom is making contact with the LSB1RS limit switch arm. * Verify that when the boom is extended at least 10" C24LS (OR/RD, TCON J7-4) is OV and that the boom is not making contact with the LSB1RS limit switch arm. * Check LSB1RS limit switch for physical damage. * Calibrate length sensor.
