The Genie display shows code 178-21 with the message “Engine Warning Lamp — Fault”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.

Effect on the machine: Machine will function as normal.

Possible causes

  • The engine has triggered the Engine Warning Lamp condition.

What you can do

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
