The Genie display shows code 71-16 with the message “TCON — Fault”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Unable to enter any ground or platform modes, as Estop is considered OFF in this state.
Possible causes
- Output to the Estop Circuit is shorted to Ground (B-).
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.

* Cycle power to allow the machine to re- test the fault.
