The Genie display shows code 80-20 with the message “Turntable Controller (TCON) — Remote disable”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.

Effect on the machine: Machine will not be functional, or have limited functionality, depending on the telematics option.

Possible causes

  • The telematics module has locked out machine operation

What you can do

Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
