The Genie display shows code 80-36 with the message “Turntable Controller (TCON) — Incorrect software version”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Machine will not be functional.
Possible causes
- TCON's secondary processor software revision does not match the system revision level.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Reprogram the machine with latest software. Check http://firmware.genielift.com/ for the latest software version.
