What is the Haulotte Compact 12 DX used for?
The Haulotte Compact 12 DX is a compact diesel scissor lift with 4×4 drive and rough terrain tyres. With a length of 3.18 m and a width of 1.78 m, it fits where full-size rough terrain scissor lifts have no room to manoeuvre: between buildings, in rear service areas and in narrow access routes on construction sites. With the deck extended, the platform measures 3.7 × 1.45 m and takes 3 people within the 450 kg capacity.
Self-levelling stabilising outriggers let you level the machine on uneven ground, and 28 cm of ground clearance and gradeability of up to 40% make it easier to reach the work position. Driving with the platform raised is possible up to a height of 8.15 m, which speeds up linear work along façades. Drive speed is in the 0.6–5.5 km/h range, and the outer turning radius is 3.5 m.
An unladen weight of 3,965 kg and an 18.5 kW Kubota engine that meets the EU Stage V standard make this model a lighter alternative to large rough terrain scissor lifts: easier to transport and putting less load on the ground. The transport height with guardrails is 2.56 m. If you need greater capacity or a longer platform, a heavier RT-class MEWP will be a better choice.
