What is the JLG 3394RT used for?
The JLG 3394RT is a diesel rough terrain scissor lift designed for outdoor use. The 2.18 × 3.81 m platform, which a deck extension lengthens by 1.22 m, and the 1,020 kg capacity allow a crew to work with materials at a platform height of 10.06 m, on façades, steel structures, roofs and installations on large sites.
Four-wheel drive, 0.30 m of ground clearance and a 2.95 m wheelbase ensure confident travel over gravel, soil and rutted sites. The machine weighs 6,600 kg, so before driving onto a floor slab, ramp or freshly laid floor, check the load-bearing capacity of the surface. The 2.71 m inner turning radius is worth bearing in mind when manoeuvring between scaffolding and material storage areas.
The 119 l fuel tank and the 37 kW (50 hp) Deutz engine suit work on sites without access to electric power. Compared with other 12-metre MEWPs, the 3394RT combines high capacity with plenty of platform space. When the priority is passing through a narrow gate or working on a light floor slab, a narrower and lighter scissor lift is a better fit.
