The Genie Z-40/23N RJ is a narrow aerial work platform with an articulating boom and rotating jib, designed for work in industrial buildings, warehouses and public buildings. A platform height of 12.32 m lets you service installations below high ceilings, and 6.91 m of horizontal outreach lets you reach over racking, production lines or stands. The 0.76 × 1.17 m platform holds an operator with tools and installation materials.
Electric power and non-marking tyres mean the machine produces no exhaust fumes and leaves no marks on floors. Transport dimensions are 6.53 × 1.5 × 1.98 m and the unladen weight is 6,940 kg; before working on a floor slab, mezzanine or ramp, its load-bearing capacity must be confirmed. 2WD drive works best on the level, hard floors typical of industrial buildings and retail premises.
When choosing a cherry picker, the rotating jib makes the case for this model when the basket has to be manoeuvred between beams, ventilation ducts or steel structure members without frequently repositioning the machine. If the work takes place in open space under a uniform ceiling, a conventional articulating boom will be enough.
