What is the Haulotte HA12 IP used for?
The Haulotte HA12 IP is a compact electric aerial work platform with an articulating boom. The articulation point at 5.3 m lets you reach over racking, machinery or installations, while the jib with 136° of articulation (+64°/−72°) and 170° basket rotation make it easier to reach awkward points below the ceiling. Electric power produces no exhaust fumes, so the machine is well suited to enclosed spaces.
A width of 1.35 m and an outside turning radius of 2.4 m allow manoeuvring in warehouse aisles, and zero tail swing during 355° turret rotation lets you work right next to a wall or rack. However, bear in mind the weight of 5,945 kg; before driving onto floor slabs, mezzanines and floors with limited load-bearing capacity, their specifications must be checked. Ground clearance of 16 cm and gradeability of 25% make the machine best suited to level, hard surfaces.
Compared with scissor lifts of similar height, the HA12 IP offers side reach, so you do not have to drive directly beneath the work point. The standard basket measures 1.2 × 0.8 m, and the manufacturer also offers an optional wide 1.40 × 0.80 m basket with a capacity of 200 kg. A permitted wind speed of 45 km/h means this cherry picker can also be used outdoors, for example on a façade.
