What is the Haulotte Compact 10 RTE used for?
The Haulotte Compact 10 RTE is a wide scissor lift with a large working area: with the deck extended, the platform length increases to 3.70 m, and the 565 kg capacity is enough for three people with tools and materials. Power from 48 V, 255 Ah batteries means operation with no exhaust fumes, suitable for operational halls and buildings at the fit-out stage. The machine can be driven with the platform raised to 8.28 m, which makes long installation runs easier.
When planning access, take the dimensions into account: an overall width of 1.78 m, a length of 2.64 m and a height of 1.59 m with the guardrails folded mean you need a gate, not an ordinary door. The unladen weight of 3,305 kg (240 kg more with the optional stabilising outriggers) requires the load capacity of the floor slab to be checked. The outside turning radius of 3.73 m should be compared with the width of aisles and service corridors.
Compared with compact indoor MEWPs, the Compact 10 RTE has a higher ground clearance of 0.25 m, so it copes more confidently with thresholds and uneven floors in buildings under construction. However, the spec sheet specifies indoor use, and the permissible machine tilt is 3°; for an unpaved construction site, a diesel rough terrain lift is a better choice. In an industrial hall, this scissor lift replaces scaffolding when installing structures and building services.
