What is the JLG 2030ES used for?
The JLG 2030ES is an electric scissor lift for installers and finishing crews who need high capacity but work in buildings with narrow passages. The 0.76 × 2.30 m platform with a 0.90 m deck extension provides space for tools and materials, and the guardrails are 1.10 m high. The machine can drive at the full platform height of 6.10 m at 0.8 km/h.
A width of 0.76 m lets it pass through standard doors, and with the guardrails folded the height drops from 2.20 m to 1.82 m. Bear in mind, however, the unladen weight of 2,065 kg: before driving onto a floor slab or floor with limited load capacity, check the permissible load; the maximum ground pressure is 6.33 kg/cm². A zero inner turning radius makes manoeuvring in tight rooms easier.
Outdoors, this scissor lift can work with one person on the platform in winds of up to 12.5 m/s; indoors there is room for two people. A 3 kW pump motor raises the platform in 30 s, and the four 6 V, 220 Ah batteries are charged by an automatic 20 A charger. Compared with the JLG 1930ES, the 2030ES offers noticeably higher capacity and a longer platform at the same width.
