Yes. Compact electric models (e.g. the 19–20 ft class) are about 0.76–0.81 m wide and, with the guardrails folded, about 1.8–2.0 m high, so they pass through a standard 90 cm door. Larger platforms 1.1–1.2 m wide need a gate or a wider entrance.

It depends on the capacity and the manufacturer's approval: small electric platforms are rated for 2 people, rough terrain diesel ones for 2–7 people (up to 7 on the Genie GS-3390 RT).
