Scissor lifts (mobile elevating work platforms, MEWPs) from the RK Rental fleet, delivered to Warsaw: 43 models with a working height from 7.7 to 22.5 m. Although our base is near Bydgoszcz, we serve the whole of Poland and deliver lifts to Warsaw. Frequently asked questions: scissor lifts in Warsaw
Will a scissor lift go through a standard door?
Yes. Compact electric models (e.g. the 19–20 ft class) are about 0.76–0.81 m wide and, with the guardrails folded, about 1.8–2.0 m high, so they pass through a standard 90 cm door. Larger platforms 1.1–1.2 m wide need a gate or a wider entrance.
How many people can work on a scissor lift?
It depends on the capacity and the manufacturer's approval: small electric platforms are rated for 2 people, rough terrain diesel ones for 2–7 people (up to 7 on the Genie GS-3390 RT). The number of people and the total mass (people + tools + materials) must not exceed the capacity on the machine's rating plate.
How quickly can you deliver a scissor lift to Warsaw?
We arrange delivery to Warsaw from our base in Brzoza near Bydgoszcz. The date depends on the queue of deliveries and returns; we agree it when quoting, together with the cost of transport (from PLN 250 net) and the rental rate.
