Code 214 occurs in machines: Genie Z-80/60, S-80, S-85, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-60/34, S-40, S-45.

The Genie display shows code 214 with the message “IAT Higher Than Expected (2)”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Air intake temperature is greater than 210° F with the engine greater than 1000 rpm.
- air intake system has leaks.
- IAT sensor is faulty.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Check air intake system for damage and proper routing of air intake components OR replace the IAT sensor.
