The Genie display shows code 199-21 with the message “LR Speed Sensor — Fault”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Reduced Speed Drive, Wheel affected locked -or- EM brake set. Main Contactor Open. No Drive of failed motor. Reduces machine drive speed.
Possible causes
- Motor Sin/Cos Encoder feedback signal fault Stalled motor. Motor encoder failure. Bad crimps or faulty wiring. Problems with power supply for the motor encoder.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
