The Genie display shows code 24-14 with the message “Primary boom angle — Cross check fault”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: When Primary < 10 deg Switch [LSB3AS] is ON disabled functions are: *Primary Boom Extend
Possible causes
- The two internal sensing channels inside the angle sensor have registered an angle difference >3°
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
* Check boom angle sensor mount, ensure all fasteners are tightened to spec. * Calibrate angle sensor. * Replace magnet and sensor.
