What is the Genie GS-2669 RT used for?
The Genie GS-2669 RT is a diesel rough terrain scissor lift designed for outdoor use: on construction sites, along façades and on structures where the ground is often uneven. The platform rises to 8 m, and the 1.52 m deck extension lengthens it to 4.32 m. The 680 kg capacity lets you take panels, profiles or structural components up to height together with the crew.
4WD, rough terrain tyres and 0.24 m of ground clearance make it easier to reach the work area over soil, and self-levelling outriggers stabilise the machine before the platform is raised. With the outriggers deployed, the length increases from 3.12 m to 3.76 m, which needs to be allowed for when planning the work position. The machine can also be driven with the platform raised, at 0.5 km/h, which makes work along a wall easier.
When choosing, pay attention to the dimensions: the machine is 1.75 m wide, 2.59 m high with the guardrails up and 1.92 m with them folded, and has an unladen weight of 3,243 kg.
