What is the Haulotte H15SX used for?
The Haulotte H15SX is a diesel rough terrain scissor lift with four-wheel drive and rough terrain tyres. The 4 × 1.9 m platform gives the crew room to lay out tools and materials, and two 1 m deck extensions let you get closer to the wall or reach over an obstacle at its base. The machine performs well on façade work and insulation, window installation in multi-storey buildings and hall structures.
Transport dimensions of 4.12 × 2.25 × 2.77 m and a weight of 6,340 kg mean that on site you need access wider than 2.25 m and ground with adequate load-bearing capacity. The self-levelling outriggers compensate for uneven ground, but on clay or freshly filled ground it is worth preparing a hardened strip for the machine. Diesel power makes this lift primarily suited to outdoor use.
In the class of around 15 m working height, the Haulotte H15SX has a lower capacity than the Genie GS-4390 RT (680 kg) and the JLG 4394RT (680 kg), but it is narrower (2.25 m) and lighter (6,340 kg) than both. It is a sensible choice when a large working area and easier access matter more than maximum platform capacity.
