What is the JLG 4394RT used for?
The JLG 4394RT is a tall diesel scissor lift: the platform rises to 13.11 m, and the operator works at a working height of 15.11 m. The 680 kg capacity and the manually extended 1.22 m front deck extension (a rear one is optional) give room for the crew, tools and materials. It is a machine for steel structure erection, roof coverings, installations in tall halls and façade work on taller buildings.
4×4 drive, rough terrain tyres, 0.30 m of ground clearance and an oscillating front axle (0.20 m travel) let it move over an uneven construction site and climb gradients of up to 45%. The tilt alarm is triggered at just 3°, so the machine must be set up on level ground before the platform is raised. The maximum ground pressure is 11.90 kg/cm², so check the load-bearing capacity of floors, floor slabs and ramps before driving onto them.
Size matters when choosing: a width of 2.39 m, a length of 3.89 m (4.75 m with optional outriggers), a height of 2.19 m with the guardrails folded and a weight of 7,100 kg. These dimensions are typical of large rough terrain scissor lifts, so entering a hall requires a suitably wide gate.
