The Genie display shows code 18-12 with the message “Proportional Relief Valve — VALUE TOO HIGH”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.

- Coil Disconnected
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Make sure relief valve is plugged in. If OK, check/ replace wiring (WH/ RD wire) coil and/or hydraulic valve.
