The Genie display shows code 18-16 with the message “Proportional Relief Valve — VALUE AT 0V”. It is a blocking fault or a safety-related code: do not use the machine until the cause has been found and removed.
Effect on the machine: Primary Up, Primary Extend and Secondary Up are disabled.
Possible causes
- Output Shorted to B-
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Verify coil shorted "VALUE AT 0 VOLTS" and all functions disabled.
