Code 35 occurs in machines: Genie S-60, S-65, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-45/25.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 35 with the message “Intake Air Temerature (IAT) sensor high voltage”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- Engine is overheating.
- sensor wires shorted to ground or poor terminal connections.
- ECT sensor is faulty.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Check for poor terminal connections or shorted wires from the IAT sensor to the ECM to ground OR replace IAT sensor.
