Code 43 occurs in machines: Genie S-60, S-65, GS-3384 RT, GS-3390, GS-4390, GS-5390, Z-45/25.
warning / function limited
The Genie display shows code 43 with the message “Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor low voltage”. It is a warning: some functions of the machine may be limited until the cause has been removed.
Possible causes
- ECM detects excessively low signal voltage from the ECT sensor.
What you can do
Switch the machine off with the emergency stop and switch it on again. If the code comes back, do not use the machine and call service.
Solution from the manual
Check engine coolant level OR check for shorted wires or poor terminal connections from the ECT sensor to the ECM OR replace the ECT sensor.
