What is an electric lift with a telescopic arm?
A telescopic boom lift has a straight, extending boom. An articulating boom lift has an arm jointed at its pivots, and its last section is an extending telescope too, hence the name “articulating telescopic boom lift”. Both machines are cherry pickers (aerial work platforms, MEWPs): the operator works in a basket at the end of the arm.
At RK Rental the electric drive is found on articulating boom lifts: 15 models powered from batteries and 4 hybrid models (Bi-Energy, batteries recharged by a combustion engine). They run quietly and without exhaust fumes, which is why they are chosen for halls, warehouses and retail buildings.
Electric with a telescope, or diesel telescopic?
For work in a building, and wherever quiet and no exhaust fumes matter, choose an electric articulating boom lift, up to 20.39 m of working height. For work outdoors, on rough ground and at greater heights, choose a diesel telescopic boom lift, from 14.2 m to 56.86 m. Not sure which to choose? Tell us the height, the location and how long you need it, and we will select the machine.

Electric telescopic boom lifts: frequently asked questions
Does RK Rental rent electric telescopic boom lifts?
We do not rent lifts with a straight telescopic boom and electric drive: our telescopic boom lifts are diesel. For work without exhaust fumes we rent electric articulating boom lifts, whose arm has an extending telescope: 19 models with a working height from 10.89 m to 20.39 m.
Does an electric articulating boom lift have a telescopic arm?
Yes. The arm of an articulating boom lift consists of jointed sections and an extending telescope, which is why you also see the name “articulating telescopic boom lift”. The telescope gives reach upwards and sideways, and the joint lets you take the basket over an obstacle.
How high does an electric lift with a telescopic arm reach?
In our range, from 10.89 m to 20.39 m of working height. The highest is the JLG E600JP, 20.39 m, with a horizontal outreach of 13.54 m.
When should I choose a diesel telescopic boom lift?
When the work is outdoors, on rough ground or higher than 20.39 m. Our diesel telescopic boom lifts are 17 models with a working height from 14.2 m to 56.86 m.
How much does it cost to rent an electric lift with a telescopic arm?
Renting an electric articulating boom lift from RK Rental costs from PLN 200 + VAT per day for rentals of more than 14 days. Rates for 1–3, 7 and 14 days for each height are in the price list.
Not sure which machine to choose?
Tell us the height, the location and how long you need it, and we will select an electric or diesel lift and send a rental quote with the data sheet.
